YouTube Analytics

Connect YouTube Analytics and your assistant can analyze your channel and video performance — pulling video metrics, listing channel reports, and running custom analytics queries.

What it is (and isn’t)

  • It’s a read connection. Your assistant reads your analytics; it doesn’t change your channel.
  • It answers performance questions in context — alongside your routines and reports.

How to connect

  1. Go to Integrations and find YouTube Analytics
  2. Click Connect and authorize Town with the Google account that owns your channel
  3. Return to Town

What it’s great for

  • Video metrics — “how did last week’s video perform?”
  • Channel reports — list and review channel-level reports
  • Custom queries — run custom analytics queries across metrics and dimensions
  • Recurring reporting — routines that summarize channel performance weekly

Good to know

  • Read-only — your assistant can’t change your channel or videos.
