Google Analytics

Connect Google Analytics and your assistant can pull reporting data from your GA4 properties — running reports and browsing your accounts and properties — so traffic questions get answered without leaving Town.

What it is (and isn’t)

  • It’s a read connection. Your assistant reads your analytics data; it doesn’t change your GA setup.
  • It answers traffic questions in context — alongside your email, docs, and routines.

How to connect

  1. Go to Integrations and find Google Analytics
  2. Click Connect and authorize Town with your Google account
  3. Return to Town

What it’s great for

  • Run GA4 reports — pull metrics and dimensions from a property
  • Browse accounts and properties — see which accounts and properties are available
  • Recurring reporting — routines that summarize traffic weekly

Good to know

  • Read-only — your assistant can’t change your Google Analytics configuration.
  • Your assistant only sees the accounts and properties your Google account can access.
