Stardex
Connect Stardex and your assistant can work with your executive-search recruiting data — candidates, companies, jobs, searches, tasks, and meeting notes — so candidate research, meeting prep, and pipeline updates happen without leaving Town.
What’s included
With Stardex connected, your assistant can:
- Search your recruiting data — people, companies, jobs, searches, and tasks
- Read candidate context — activity history, documents, and meeting notes
- Update candidate records — add notes and activities, change stages, and attach documents
- Manage your pipeline — jobs, lists, and tasks
How to connect
- Go to Integrations and find Stardex
- Click Add account, keep or edit the label, then click Continue
- Sign in with your Stardex account and authorize Town
- Return to Town
You can also connect Stardex for your whole team from a team workspace — each teammate’s assistant then works from the shared connection.
What it’s great for
- Candidate research — “pull up everything we have on this candidate before my 2pm call”
- Meeting prep and follow-up — summarize recent meeting notes for a search, then log the follow-up as a note
- Pipeline hygiene — review stale candidates in a search and update stages or add notes as you go
- Weekly updates — draft a client-ready status update from the activity on a search
Good to know
- Your assistant sees and does only what your Stardex account can — candidates, jobs, and notes follow your organization’s access in Stardex.
- Changes to records (notes, stages, record edits) follow your assistant’s approval settings, like any other connected tool.
- To revoke access, remove the account in Town or revoke Town’s access from your Stardex settings.
