Airtable
Connect Airtable and your assistant can work with your bases — search bases, inspect table schemas, and read or write records — so your structured data feeds routines, summaries, and updates without leaving Town.
What’s included
With Airtable connected, your assistant can:
- Find your data — list and search bases and inspect base and table schemas
- Read records — list, filter, and display records from any table
- Write records — create and update records, including upserts
Connecting Airtable
- Go to Integrations
- Find Airtable and click Connect
- Authorize Town in Airtable (sign in when prompted)
- Return to Town
Your assistant acts on your behalf and can only access the bases your Airtable account can access. You can revoke access anytime from your Airtable account settings.

Use cases
- Log from anywhere — “add this email’s details as a new row in my CRM base.”
- Look up records — “what’s the status of the Acme project in my tracker base?”
- Keep tables current — routines that update records as work progresses.
- Summarize a table — “summarize open items in my content calendar for this week.”
Good to know
- Writes change your live Airtable data — use approval-required tool settings in routines that create or update records.
- Your assistant works within the fields and types your table schema defines; check the schema if a write fails.
