Connect PostHog and your assistant can work with your product analytics — running queries, reading persons, cohorts, and surveys, and creating or updating insights.
What’s included
With PostHog connected, your assistant can:
- Query your data — create queries against your PostHog project
- Read your project — get persons, cohorts, and surveys
- Manage insights — list, read, create, and update project insights
Connecting PostHog
- Go to Integrations
- Find PostHog and click Connect
- Enter your PostHog instance URL and an API key (create one in PostHog under Settings → Personal API keys)
- Return to Town
Your assistant is limited to the projects your PostHog account can access. You can revoke access anytime from PostHog settings.

* Running a query creates a query in your PostHog project, so Town treats it as a change and asks for approval by default.
