Connecting Dropbox
- Go to Integrations
- Find Dropbox and click Connect
- Authorize Town in Dropbox
- Return to Town
Town requests access to your Dropbox files and folders. You can revoke access anytime from your Dropbox account settings.

A workflow that organizes email attachments into Dropbox:
When an email arrives with attachments:

Use approval-required for uploads. Uploading and overwriting files makes permanent changes. Review before writing to your Dropbox.
Be specific about folder paths. When your workflow needs to save files, specify exact folder paths in your instructions.

Troubleshooting
Can’t find files
- Verify the file path or name is correct
- Check that the file exists in your Dropbox
- Ensure Town has access to the file’s location
Upload fails
- Check that you have write access to the target folder
- Verify the file path is valid
- Ensure there’s enough storage space
Shared link issues
- Check your Dropbox sharing settings
- Verify you have permission to share the file
- Try creating a new shared link
