Xero Accounting

Connect Xero Accounting and your assistant can work with your books — finding contacts, invoices, and credit notes, checking bank summaries, and creating invoices, bills, payments, and other accounting records.

What’s included

With Xero connected, your assistant can:

  • Look things up — find contacts and invoices, list contacts, invoices, and credit notes, and get invoice online URLs
  • Check finances — get bank summaries, tenant connections, and tracking categories
  • Create records — sales invoices, bills, bank transactions, credit notes, and payments
  • Manage contacts — create or update contacts, and find-or-create by lookup
  • Send invoices — email an invoice to a customer

Use cases

  • Invoice from email — “create and email an invoice to Acme for last month.”
  • Receivables check — “which invoices are overdue?”
  • Bookkeeping summaries — routines that summarize new invoices and payments.

Good to know

  • Invoices, bills, and payments are real financial records — use approval-required tool settings in routines that create or send them.
