Invite Friends & Earn Credits

Share Town with a friend and you both get something: they get an extended free trial, and you earn 2,000 Town Credits when they become a paying subscriber. This page explains how the referral program works, where to find your invite link, and when credits land.

How it works

Share your invite link. Everyone has one reusable link — share it with as many people as you like.
Your friend signs up through it. Eligible new users get a 14-day Pro trial instead of the standard 7 days.
You earn 2,000 credits when they start paying. Once they begin a paid personal plan, 2,000 Town Credits are added to your account automatically.

There’s no cap: every friend who converts earns you another 2,000 credits.

Where to find your invite link

The Invite page: town.com/invite . Copy your link from there, or send invites directly. (We’re rolling out a redesigned Invite page — if your account doesn’t have it yet, the same address opens the Share Town screen, which has the same link.)
Settings → Plan & Billing: open town.com/settings/plan and find the Invite rewards card, which has a Copy referral link button.

Both work on desktop and mobile.

Earned a reward but can’t find your link? After a friend converts, the sidebar’s Share Town tile celebrates your reward instead of showing the share screen. Your link isn’t gone — grab it anytime at town.com/invite or from Settings → Plan & Billing → Invite rewards → Copy referral link.

What counts as a qualifying referral

Your friend signs up for Town through your link and later starts a paid personal plan (for example, Pro).
Trial time doesn’t count yet — the reward is granted when their paid subscription actually begins.
Team and enterprise plans don’t qualify. Only paid personal plans earn the reward.
You can’t refer yourself, including your own alternate email addresses.

The credits are granted automatically once their paid plan begins — there’s nothing to claim. If someone you referred is paying and you don’t see the reward, email support@corp.town.com.

Tracking what you’ve earned

Settings → Plan & Billing (town.com/settings/plan ) shows your running total: how many of your referrals are paying and the credits you’ve earned so far.

A couple of details worth knowing:

Rewards are yours personally. Even if a team covers your Town plan, referral credits go to your personal balance, not the team’s.
On the Free plan? You can still earn. Credits can’t be spent on Free, but they carry over and are usable when you upgrade.

Reward amounts reflect the current offer and may change — the Invite page always shows today’s numbers. Credits earned from referrals follow the usual credit rules; see Credits & Usage.
