Morning Briefing
Start your day knowing exactly what matters. Morning Briefing sends you a daily email with your schedule, urgent items that need attention, and updates on topics you care about. It’s your personalized news and agenda in one place — with an optional audio version you can listen to on the go.
How it works
- At your scheduled time, your assistant wakes up
- It checks your calendar for today’s meetings
- It finds urgent emails — only the ones that truly need attention today
- It researches your topics — news, weather, stocks, or whatever you’ve added
- You get an email summary with everything in one place, plus an optional audio version
Configuration
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Send briefing at | Choose a time between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM |
| Send on | Every day or weekdays only |

Additional topics
Add anything you want your assistant to look up each morning:
- “AI industry news”
- “Weather in San Francisco”
- “AAPL stock price”
- “Top tech headlines”
- “Bitcoin price”
Your assistant researches each topic and includes a brief update in your briefing.
What’s in the briefing
Schedule — Today’s meetings with times and titles. Each links directly to the calendar event.
Emails — Only the truly urgent ones. Emails that are time-sensitive, need a response today, or involve an imminent meeting. Most days this is 0-3 emails, not your whole inbox.
Updates — Research on your additional topics with the key facts.
Audio version — Listen to your briefing instead of reading it. Great for commutes or morning routines.
Smart filtering
Your assistant is selective about what goes in the briefing:
- Emails must be unread, in your inbox, and genuinely time-sensitive
- Topics only include material updates — no repeating yesterday’s info unless something changed
- Deduplication tracks the last 7 days so you don’t see the same thing twice
The goal is high signal, not comprehensive coverage.
Schedule your briefing 30-60 minutes before you start work. This gives you time to review and mentally prepare for the day.
