Build your own in conversation
You can also build your own custom routine; just describe what you want in the chat and your Townie builds it.
Every Friday, check which prospects haven’t replied this week and draft a warm follow up.
That’s a real instruction. Your Townie will then work with you to pick the trigger, select the right tools, and write the logic. You can run it, see what happens, and iterate from there — “make the tone more casual,” “skip anyone who replied on LinkedIn,” “run it every Wednesday instead.”
You don’t fill out a form. You have a conversation.
You control how much it can do
Every routine has a dial to set the trust.
Read-only means your Townie can look but not touch anything. Approval-required means it does the work, then pauses and asks before executing. Autonomous means it just handles it, no waiting.
You can mix these within a single routine. A payment tracker might log to a spreadsheet autonomously but wait for your approval before sending a nudge about an overdue invoice. Most people start with approval-required and promote to autonomous once they trust the behavior.
Each routine gets sharper
As you give feedback — “don’t archive emails from that sender,” “include the project timeline, not just the status” — your Townie remembers. The instructions tighten. The output improves.
