Greenhouse holds the pipeline. Town keeps it moving from your interviews, inbox, and calendar.

  • “Put together a pipeline update on the Senior PM role for Monday's hiring sync.”

A hiring update drafted as an email from live Greenhouse data — every active application, stage by stage.

  • “Set up Marcus's onsite for next week.”

The calendar invite drafted and the Greenhouse record added — each held for your approval.

  • “Chase the scorecards still missing from this week's interviews.”

Interviews cross-checked against feedback, reminder emails drafted for your approval.

Greenhouse integration FAQ

Town is an official Greenhouse partner, and the integration connects your ATS to your assistant through Greenhouse's own sign-in — no API keys, nothing to install. Your Townie can read jobs, candidates, applications, scorecards, offers, and scheduled interviews, answer pipeline questions, prep interviews, and keep Greenhouse records up to date.

Access runs through your own Greenhouse account, so your Townie can never see or do more than you can, and it reads data on demand — there's no background sync or copied database. Changes that can reach a candidate wait for your approval before they land. Read more about how Town approaches security.

Changes that can reach a candidate — stage moves, rejections, interview records — are held for your approval by default. Internal record edits like notes apply directly, and in routines you trust you can allow Greenhouse updates to run automatically, or set any action back to Always ask.

Jobs and their interview stages, candidates, applications, scorecards, offers, scheduled interviews, users, and rejection reasons. With the right permissions your Townie can also move applications between stages, reject or restore them, add internal notes, keep interview records current, and edit candidate or job details.

A Greenhouse Site Admin account — Greenhouse shares API data with Site Admins only, and Town verifies this when you connect — plus a Town account, free to start. The Greenhouse connection works on every Town plan.

No — Greenhouse stays your ATS of record. Town keeps it fed and puts it to work: pipeline questions get answered where you work, interviews come with prep, and the record reflects what actually happened.

What is Greenhouse?

Greenhouse is the hiring platform where talent teams run structured recruiting — jobs, candidates, interview plans, scorecards, and offers — from first application to signed offer.

Greenhouse holds the pipeline; Town keeps it moving. Connected, any pipeline question gets a stage-by-stage answer, every interview comes with a prep brief, and the updates that follow a debrief land in Greenhouse with your approval.
